This tyre was named 'tyre of the year' by Motorcycle News, and the winner of comparison tests in Moto Revue (France) and Motorrad (Germany) in 2006 so it needs no introductions. Now it has been superceded twice it has become very good value for money. It's the excellent match for today's race ready sportbikes. It is this same 2 compound technology used for Michelins other top motorcycle tyres like the Michelin Road 2 and the Michelin Power One. The was first generation dual-compound performance tyre with an intermediate compound in the centre of the tread for durability, and a softer compound on the shoulders for cornering grip. Rubber compounds developed through Moto GP racing require minimal warm up time. Rubber mix remains tacky even at low temperatures. Grooved area is less than 12% of the motorcycle tyre area for phenomenal cornering adhesion.
